Mark Alan Reeves, 65, passed away February 6, 2010 after a long illness.

Born in LaFargeville, NY on October 20, 1944 he was the husband of Roxie (Haynes) Reeves. He is survived also by his son, Mark Jared Reeves of Salem, MA and wife Amie Weddleton, grandsons Jackson and Simon; his daughter, Natalie (Reeves) Hodges and husband, Thomas MacKenzie "Mac" Hodges, of Norwalk, CT, as well as his mother, Wanda (Galick) Reeves of Wawarsing, NY; brother of Robert Reeves and wife Vickie of Napanoch, NY, brother John Maurice Reeves and wife Harriet of Fruitland Park, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Mark retired from the New York State Department of Corrections in December 2003 as Lieutenant having been employed at the Green Haven, Eastern and Cape Vincent Facilities.  An Air Force veteran, he served his country from 1965 to 1969.  Mark will be remembered as a resourceful man who took great interest and pride in craftsmanship.  Capable of fixing almost anything, Mark actively undertook remodeling projects on his homes, and enjoyed working on and maintaining his vehicles and other mechanical projects.  In his later years he enjoyed NASCAR on television.

 A Memorial service will be held Thursday, February 11 at 3 PM at Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville New York with Chaplain Sue Kohler Archambault officiating. A calling period will precede the service at the funeral home from 2 - 3 PM.
