Donald W. Johnson, 92, died at Albany Medical Center July 13, 2010.

Born October 22, 1917 in Rochester, NY, the son of the late William and Vera Reed Johnson. He courted and later married the former Marion Spencer on June 10, 1939.
Don served in the Army Air Corps( 1942-45) and participated in the invasions of North Africa and Italy. He began employment for Delco Products in 1937 and retired as General Supervisor of Personnel on May 1, 1976.  He was an avid gardener and fisherman and loved playing rummy and bingo.  He enjoyed the family summer camp on Sodus Bay for many years.  Don was a long time member of the Board of Directors of the Monroe County ARC and was active in the Heritage Christian Home Foundation which provides housing for disabled persons.

His wife Marion passed away on January 22, 2001.  Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey Alan Johnson of Penfield, NY and Donald S. Johnson and his wife Patti of Glenville; grandchildren, Stacy Rossi and her husband Joseph and Gregory Johnson and his fiancee Jessie Freeborn.
